Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You add two disks to one group.
-
You add the ClusterOfflineTimeout and ClusterOnlineTimeout registry entries under the following registry subkey:

You configure the storage area of a source disk to another disk.

You enable the shadow copy schedule against the source disk. To do this, follow these steps:

Open Computer Management, and then click Disk Management.

Right click the source disk, and then select Properties.

Select the source disk on the Shadow Copies tab, and then click the Enable button.

You click the Disable button to disable the shadow copy schedule.
In this scenario, the source disk is offline and cannot be brought online automatically.
Resolution
To resolve this issue for Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2, install update 2919355. To resolve this issue for Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012, install the hotfix that is described in the " Hotfix information" section in this article. To apply this hotfix, you must be running Windows Server 2012, Windows RT or Windows 8.

Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace a previously released hotfix.

The dates and the times for these files on your local computer are displayed in your local time together with your current daylight saving time (DST) bias. The security catalog files, for which the attributes are not listed, are signed with a Microsoft digital signature.
