Symptoms
Assume that you use Microsoft Azure Storage to store SQL Server database files. When you perform create or delete operations over a high-latency network connection, data loss may occur.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2014 SP1
Cumulative Update 8 for SQL Server 2014
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. View the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
