Summary
This issue has been reported after the installation of MS16-087: Description of the security update for Windows print spooler components: July 12, 2016.
Cause
This problem is not caused by fix for MS16-087. The problem is caused by an earlier change that was made to win32spl.dll which was included in the MS16-087 release.

To install this update, you must have Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.

You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this update.

This update does not replace a previously released update.

Windows Server 2008
Note: The MANIFEST files (.manifest) and the MUM files (.mum) that are installed for each environment are listed in the "Additional file information" section. MUM, MANIFEST, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are very important to maintain the state of the updated components. The security catalog files, for which the attributes are not listed, are signed with a Microsoft digital signature.
