Computerscherm wordt zwart tijdens het installatieproces van Windows 7

Dit artikel biedt een oplossing voor een probleem waarbij een zwart scherm wordt weergegeven tijdens de installatie van Windows 7 op systemen met ingesloten DisplayPort van AMD/ATI.

Opmerking

Dit artikel is bestemd voor ervaren computergebruikers. Als u een handelsversie van Windows 7 hebt gekocht, klikt u op de ondersteuningskoppeling aan de rechterkant van het scherm.

Symptomen

Uw computer heeft een AMD/ATI Radeon Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) die gebruikmaakt van de ingesloten DisplayPort-technologie (eDP). Wanneer u Windows 7 op de computer installeert, wordt er een zwart scherm weergegeven tijdens het installatieproces. De installatie wordt echter nog steeds uitgevoerd. In deze situatie kunt u de installatie mogelijk niet voltooien.

Opmerking

Als u meerdere beeldschermen hebt, is alleen het primaire scherm zwart wanneer u dit probleem ondervindt.

Oorzaak

AMD heeft eDP-ondersteuning geïmplementeerd nadat de Windows 7-dvd was voltooid. Daarom biedt het AMD Radeon graphics-stuurprogramma op de windows 7-retail-dvd geen ondersteuning voor eDP.

AMD heeft een bijgewerkt stuurprogramma uitgebracht dat het eDP-probleem oplost. De update moet worden opgenomen in het installatieproces om de installatie te voltooien.

Oplossing

Ga als volgt te werk om dit probleem op te lossen:

Sla het Autounattend.xml-antwoordbestand en het nieuwste grafische stuurprogramma op een USB-flashstation op. Ga hiervoor als volgt te werk:
1. Kopieer een Autounattend.xml-bestand naar de hoofdmap van een USB-flashstation. Als u zelf een Autounattend.xml-bestand wilt maken, gaat u naar de sectie Een Autounattend.xml bestand maken .
2. Kopieer het niet-gecomprimeerde grafische stuurprogramma naar het USB-flashstation. Ga hiervoor als volgt te werk:
  1. Download het nieuwste stuurprogramma voor uw grafische adapter van de AMD-website.
  2. Voer het gedownloade programma (.exe) uit om het stuurprogramma uit te pakken. Het programma vraagt om een installatielocatie, zoals c:\ati\support.
  3. Nadat de extractie is voltooid, zoekt u de installatiemap die in de vorige stap is genoteerd.
  4. Kopieer de installatiemap naar het USB-flashstation.
Start vanaf de windows 7-installatie-dvd de computer met de AMD Radeon GPU die gebruikmaakt van eDP.
Sluit onmiddellijk het USB-flashstation aan nadat de computer vanaf een dvd is gestart.
Volg de instructies om het installatieproces te voltooien.
Wanneer het systeem voor het eerst opnieuw wordt opgestart, koppelt u het USB-flashstation los.

Tijdelijke oplossing

Als u een secundaire monitor hebt, sluit u de monitor aan op de computer voordat u Windows 7 installeert. Vervolgens kunt u het installatieproces voltooien. Nadat Windows 7 is geïnstalleerd, kunt u een bijgewerkt stuurprogramma installeren dat het eDP-probleem oplost via Windows Update of via de AMD-website.

Voer de volgende stappen uit om zelf een Autounattend.xml-bestand te maken:

Start Kladblok op een computer die u kunt gebruiken en plak de volgende tekst in het venster Kladblok:

Sla het bestand op als Autounattend.xml met behulp van de UTF-8-coderingsindeling.
