Windows Server 2008 또는 Windows Server 2008 R2 제품과 서비스를 이용하는 고객은 Microsoft Azure로 마이그레이션하여 추가로 3년간 추가 비용 없이 결정적이고 중요한 보안 업데이트를 활용해야 하므로 준비가 되면 현대화 해야 합니다. Azure 이외의 환경에서는 기한이 지나기 전에 최신 버전으로 업그레이드하는 것이 좋습니다. 지원 종료 기한을 지키지 못하는 고객은 확장 보안 업데이트를 구입하여 업그레이드하기 전까지 서버 워크로드를 보호할 수 있습니다(일부 제한 사항 적용).
