Cumulative Update 3 for Host Integration Server 2013

Introduction

Cumulative Update 3 (CU3) for Microsoft Host Integration Server 2013 contains hotfixes for issues that were fixed after the release of Host Integration Server 2013.

We recommend that you test the hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new fix release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included in the previous Host Integration Server 2013 fix release. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains this hotfix.

Important This cumulative update includes all the product components. However, only those components that are currently installed on the system are updated.

  • We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains this hotfix. This cumulative update does not contain fixes for Microsoft Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO). Therefore, this update does not apply to stand-alone SSO servers.

How to get Cumulative Update 3 for Host Integration Server 2013

A supported cumulative update package is now available from Microsoft Support. However, the cumulative update package is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply the cumulative update package only to systems that are experiencing these specific problems. This cumulative update package may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by any of these problems, we recommend that you wait for the next Host Integration Server 2013 service pack. The next service pack will contain the hotfixes that are in this cumulative update package.
