Symptoms
During Big Data Clusters (BDC) provisioning in Microsoft SQL Server 2019, you notice that a dump file for PolyBase processes is created when SQL Server restarts. To avoid this problem, this fix delays the PolyBase processes so that they start after SQL Server restarts.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
