INTRODUCTION
From July 1, 2012, correction letters in the paper form are not accepted for electronic invoices by the Brazilian government. Electronic correction letters must be transmitted to the government through specific web services. To comply with this change, the Electronic Correction Letter (CCe) functionality is introduced.
A country-specific update is available to provide the Electronic Correction Letter (CCe) functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Brazil localization layer installed.
Assume that you install this update. When you generate an NF-e file, you can attach and transmit the correction letter event by using a new form.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

The Brazilian version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
