Symptoms
Assume that you set the short date format to M/d/yyyy, MM/DD/YY or YY/MM/DD in the Region and Language dialog box in control panel. When you run the Belgium purchase journal report for a specific period in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1, the system displays all vendor invoices in the Belgium purchase journal report and it does not filter by dates. Therefore, the system generates the Belgium purchase journal report incorrectly. For example, if you run the Belgium purchase journal report from 06/01/2012 to 06/30/2012, the report displays a vendor invoice that has the date in May.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
