- Field 70a option G (also known as the WEBB option-web address option) is incorrectly defined to use the X SWIFT character set in the MT564 schema. Therefore, some characters are not accepted in Field 70a option G. For example, the at sign (@) character is not accepted.
Note The correct character set for Field 70a option G is the Z SWIFT character set in the MT564 schema.
- Some required characters are not in the definition for Character Set Z that is defined in Swiftcommondatatypes.xsd.
For example, the underscore (_) character is not in the definition for Character Set Z.
Note The Z SWIFT character set contains the following characters:
- Characters from both the SWIFT X and SWIFT Y character sets
- The at sign (@), underscore (_), and number sign (#) characters
