This article describes the 2007 Microsoft Office system issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated February 28, 2012.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

Consider the following scenario:
  • You create a custom list that contains some values in a SharePoint site.
  • You add a lookup column to a list that lets users select multiple values from the custom list, or select multiple values that are in a different list column.
  • You create a new item, and then add the values for the lookup column to the new item in Standard view. The order of the add operation differs from the order of the current items.
  • You switch to Datasheet view, and then open the drop-down list of the lookup column for the new item.
In this scenario, not all the check boxes for the values are selected.
