Assume that you have a product configuration model that has no route operation in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Then, you create a sales order line on a sales order by using a product item of the product configuration model. In this situation, when you click Configure line in the Sales order dialog box to configure the sales order line, you receive the following error message:
This problem occurs if you define the number sequence of route number to manual.
Route number number sequence must not be manual.
