Description of the Outlook 2007 hotfix package (Outlook-x-none.msp): February 12, 2013

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 hotfix package that is dated February 12, 2013.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Outlook 2007 crashes when you right-click the Preview pane after you install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Add-in.
    BUG #: 856134 (Office12)
  • When you sync Outlook 2007 together with SharePoint 2010 in Office 365, the task list shows items as changed.
    BUG #: 856033 (Office12)
  • Other personal folders (.pst) files are collapsed when you run a VBA macro to add a .pst file to a profile.
    BUG #: 856021 (Office12)
  • When you use Outlook 2007 in an Office 365 environment, you cannot send a message to internal users in the Contact folder of the Address Book by using a VBA macro or program. Additionally, a rule that automatically replies to messages causes a non-delivery report (NDR) for internal users when Outlook 2007 processes messages by using local Outlook template (.oft) files.
    BUG #: 856063 (Office12)
  • Assume that you try to send an email message to an external one-off SMTP recipient. In this situation, Outlook 2007 does not send email messages to any external users and you immediately receive a non-delivery report (NDR), or the email message is stuck in the Outbox.
    BUG #: 856015 (Office12)
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You enable an add-in that accesses custom user properties of items by using the VBA code.
    • You are an attendee of a recurring meeting.
    • You delete an instance of the recurring meeting that contains a custom user property in Outlook 2007.
    • You send a response to the organizer when you are prompted by Outlook 2007.
    In this scenario, Outlook crashes.
    BUG #: 856080 (Office12)
  • Assume that you have the Editor permission to a folder of a mailbox for another user. You open a message that is in a shared folder, such as the category of a message. In this situation, text is unexpectedly added to the body of the message.
    BUG #: 856095 (Office12)
