Use Triangulation Rates in Currency Translation

How do I use Triangulation Rates in Currency Translation?

More Information

FRx can use the triangulation currency when the exchange rates are not maintained between the base currency and a particular conversion currency. For example, you want to convert Greek Drachmas (GRD) to Bolivian Boliviano (BOB). Suppose there is not a direct conversion between these two currencies, but both currencies convert to US Dollars (USD). You can have FRx convert GRD to USD. Then, you can have FRx convert USD to BOB. (GRD > USD > BOB).
  1. On the Admin menu, click Open FRx Rate Maintenance.
  2. If prompted, select the appropriate DAX file.
