This update resolves the following issues.
Issue 1Assume that you have a Language Interface Pack (LIP) installed on a computer that is running an OEM version of Windows 8. In this situation, the Windows 7 license terms are stored on the computer instead of Windows 8 license terms.
Issue 2Assume that you install a LIP on a computer that is running an OEM version of Windows 8. In this situation, you unexpectedly find Windows 7 license terms on the computer.
For example, you can view the license terms in the Action Center, or the license terms are displayed when you run the Winver.exe command.
