If the behavior still occurs after you take the steps to resolve the problem, remove Norton AntiVirus 2003 manually. If you cannot remove Norton AntiVirus by using the Add or Remove Programs tool, use the Rnav2003.exe utility. To remove Norton AntiVirus manually, click Add or Remove programs, click Norton Antivirus, and then clickRemove Programsin Control Panel. Fix it for me
To fix this problem automatically, click the Fix it button or link. In the File Download dialog box, click Run, and then follow the steps in the Fix it Wizard.
- This wizard may be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
- If you are not on the computer that has the problem, save the Fix it solution to a flash drive or a CD and then run it on the computer that has the problem.
Then, go to the "Did this fix the problem?" section.
Let me fix it myself
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
- In the right pane of Registry Editor, double-click Common Administrative Tools.
- In the Value data box , type the following line, and then click OK: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools
- On the File menu, click Exit to quit Registry Editor.
- Restart the computer.
