Summary

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package that is dated July 10, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You enable publishing features, anonymous access, and a BLOB cache for a SharePoint Server 2010 site. You browse to an image file on the site. However, the version of the image file is incorrect.

  • When you delete a tag from a multi-vale taxonomy field that contains some tags in a SharePoint Server 2010 site collection, the last tag in the field is deleted unexpectedly.

  • When you use multiple authentication methods to create a personal site in a SharePoint Server 2010 farm, you receive the following error message:

There has been an error creating the personal site. Contact your site administrator for more information.

  • You set up a SharePoint Server 2010 site subscription that contains multiple sites and a hold hub. You perform a search and add results to the hold. However, the hold process fails.

  • When you change the time zone in a SharePoint Server 2010 site collection, the document set welcome page displays the incorrect date.

  • User A clicks the I Like It button to tag a SharePoint Server 2010 site. Then, user B clicks the I Like It button. However, user B receives the following error message:

    Failed tagging this page.

  • You rate an item on a SharePoint Server 2010 site that contains a space in the URL. However, after the Social Rating Synchronization timer job is finished, the rating of the item is cleared.

  • When you try to delete a term-enabled single value property on a SharePoint Server 2010 site, the property is not deleted as expected.

  • You have a language that differs from the language of a term store for a multilingual UI (MUI) on a SharePoint Server 2010 site. When you type a term in the managed metadata field, the suggestions are displayed in the two languages.

  • Data that is deleted on a SharePoint Server 2010 site is still displayed on team pages. For example, a property value in user information is not changed after you clear the property of the user profile.
