The first task is to use Microsoft Copilot to brainstorm a list of assets for an upcoming announcement. Ask Copilot about what assets are currently available. We'll do this in Business Chat (BizChat) so you'll need to go to https://copilot.microsoft.com and make sure you have the Work tab selected.

Step 1 - Ask Copilot about what assets are currently available

At the most basic level tell Copilot what your goal is.

Basic prompt: Provide a list of marketing assets currently available for Project Dana.

Just a simple list of assets may not be enough though. It would be helpful to also know who in the organization owns each of those assets. Let's try a more powerful prompt.

Power promptProvide a list of marketing assets currently available for Project Dana and the current owner of each asset.

That's better, but we may want a little more information than that. How fresh each asset is will help us know how likely it is that the asset is usable for this campaign. Let's take our prompt to the next level.

Super prompt: Create a table of marketing assets currently available for Project Dana and include columns for the owner of the asset and the date it was last modified.

Tip:  Make it your own Do you want files, emails, events, or Teams chat messages? Do you want to focus on content from a particular person or during a particular time period? Specify that in your prompt!

Step 2 - Ask Copilot to suggest some additional assets

Follow up on your prompt above by having Copilot identify gaps in your content set.

Basic prompt: Suggest a list of marketing assets that we may be missing for our Project Dana marketing campaign.

Sometimes you can get better results by asking Copilot to role-play. We can use that approach for a more powerful prompt.

Power prompt: Act as a marketing representative for Project Dana. Looking at the above list of marketing assets, create a list of assets you would want to have, but that don't currently appear in the set.
