Description of the Publisher 2010 hotfix package (Publisher-x-none.msp): December 13, 2011

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

• Consider the following scenario:

  • You use the Encrypting File System (EFS) to encrypt a folder.

  • You use the subst command to create a virtual drive to the folder.

  • You create a new document in Publisher 2010 and save it as a .pub file to the virtual drive.

  • You update and save the document.

  In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

  Publisher cannot save the file.
