Services Do Not Start Correctly After You Configure Group Policy Settings That Are in the Default Domain Controller Policy

This article has been archived. It is offered "as is" and will no longer be updated.
After you configure Group Policy settings for services that are in the Default Domain Controller Policy, you find that the settings are not applied. Instead, Group Policy settings for services in the Default Domain Policy are used. As a result, services may not start correctly.
This problem may occur if the Group Policy settings for services that are in the Default Domain Controller Policy conflict with the Group Policy settings for services that are in the Default Domain Policy. When these conflicts occur, the Default Domain Policy may override the Default Domain Controller Policy.
