FIX: DataGrid control loses focus when you press the SHIFT+DOWN ARROW key combination

SYMPTOMS
When you click the last row in the DataGrid control, and then you press the SHIFT+DOWN ARROW key combination, a problem occurs. When you release the SHIFT key, the DataGrid control loses focus.
CAUSE
When you release the SHIFT key, the SHIFT+DOWN ARROW events change to DOWN ARROW events. Therefore, the DataGrid control loses focus.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.
