Summary
This article describes an available update that adds reason codes to error strings for the data providers for DB2 in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 and in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010.
After you apply this update, the data providers for DB2 return all reason codes together with all error codes and messages that are returned from DB2.
More Information
The data providers for DB2 in Host Integration Server 2009 and in Host Integration Server 2010 do not always query DB2 for all message strings. This makes it more difficult for software developers to diagnose some issues correctly. This update helps resolve this problem.
Hotfix information
