Como Automatizar o Microsoft Word para Efectuar Impressão em Série a partir do Visual Basic

Existem dois modos de controlar um servidor de Automatização: utilizando o enlace dinâmico ou utilizando o enlace inicial. Com o enlace dinâmico, os métodos não são vinculados até ao tempo de execução e o servidor de Automatização é declarado como Objecto. Com o enlace inicial, a aplicação sabe, no momento da estruturação, o tipo exacto de objecto com o qual irá comunicar e poderá declarar os respectivos objectos como um tipo específico. Este exemplo utiliza o enlace inicial, que é considerado melhor na maior parte dos casos porque proporciona maior desempenho e melhor segurança de tipos.

Para efectuar o enlace inicial a um servidor de Automatização, tem de definir uma referência à biblioteca de tipos desse servidor. No Visual Basic, isto é efectuado através da caixa de diálogo References. Para abrir a caixa de diálogo open the References, clique em References no menu Project. Para este exemplo, tem de adicionar uma referência à biblioteca de tipos para o Word antes de poder executar o código.

Criar o Exemplo de Automatização

  1. Inicie o Visual Basic e crie um novo projecto EXE Padrão. Por predefinição, é criado o Form1.
  2. Adicione um controlo CommandButton ao Form1.
  3. No menu Project, clique em References para abrir a caixa de diálogo References.
  4. Seleccione Microsoft Word 11.0 Object Library para criar uma referência à biblioteca de tipos do Microsoft Office Word 2003. Para o Word 2002, seleccione Microsoft Word 10.0 Object Library. Para o Word 2000, seleccione Microsoft Word 9.0 Object Library. Para o Word 97, seleccione Microsoft Word 8.0 Object Library.
  5. Clique em OK para fechar a caixa de diálogo References.
  6. Adicione o código seguinte na janela de código do Form1:
