Description of the Word 2007 hotfix package (Word-x-none.msp, Wordconv-x-none.msp): February 28, 2012


This article describes the Microsoft Office Word 2007 issues that are fixed in the Word 2007 hotfix package that is dated February 28, 2012.


Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario. You have a Word 2007 document that contains some comments and a shape at the bottom of a page. You scale the document to print on a paper size that is larger than the document itself. Then, you print the document. In this situation, the shape is not displayed in the printout.   • Assume that you have a Word document that has vertical text and a page break or a section break. When you scroll up and scroll down in the document many times in Word 2007, the document display is corrupted. BUG #: 32191 (OfficeQFE)
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You install Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint file formats.
    • You create a Word template in *.dot format.
    • You create a Word document based on the template in Word 2003.
    • You save the document, and then you open the document.
    In this scenario, the content in the template is unavailable.
