Symptoms

Case Category Type doesn't get set resulting in the Case Detail form not recognizing cases as the appropriate type.  This causes fields/customizations specific to case types (such as FMLA) to not display properly.

Resolution

Change the exists join to an inner join which allows the category type to be loaded from the CaseCategoryHierarchyDetail table.
