After you delete a Microsoft Office 365 video channel, the channel continues to appear in the Office 365 Video portal. When you click the channel, you receive the following error message:
That didn't work, this channel is no longer available.
The Spotlight feature is not automatically updated by the deletion. So, if the deleted channel is set as a Spotlight channel, that channel will still be displayed on the main page as a Spotlight channel.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Open the Video portal, and then click Portal Settings on the toolbar.
- In the left navigation pane, select Spotlight.
- If the deleted channel is set as a Spotlight channel, select the drop-down list that contains the deleted channel. Then, select the blank space at the top of the list to de-select that channel. This will prevent the deleted channel from appearing in the Office 365 Video portal.
