To activate and start to use Office 2008 for Mac Trial Edition, follow these steps:
  1. Start any of the Office 2008 for Mac programs.
  2. On the Welcome screen, type the trial product key in the Activate Trial or in the Purchase box, and then click Activate.

    Important
    You must enter the product key exactly as it appears. For example, you must use all uppercase letters ("caps") and include the dashes. Do not add any additional spaces.
  3. On the screen that states "Your 30-day trial is active," click Try to start the program.
Note If you are not connected to the Internet, you can manually activate Office 2008 for Mac. When you start any of the Office 2008 for Mac programs, click Manual Activation on the Welcome screen, and then follow the instructions.
