SQL Server Log Provider error when you configure SSIS in SQL Server 2014 Developer and SSDT

Assume that you configure SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages on an instance of SQL Server 2014 Developer (64 bit) on Windows Server. When you enter the Logging options, you receive the following error message:

Log provider "Microsoft.LogProviderSQLServer" is not installed correctly on this computer. (Microsoft Visual Studio)

Log provider "Microsoft.LogProviderSQLServer" is not installed correctly on this computer. (Microsoft Visual Studio)

When you receive the error message, you can delete the existing log configuration and add a new configuration. However, because of this issue, it doesn't retain the setting. Moreover, this issue occurs every time you re-open the package and look at the logging settings.

This is a known issue in the products listed in the "Applies To" section. Microsoft is investigating the issue and will provide more information as it becomes available.
