Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You use Microsoft Outlook in online mode in an environment that has Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed.

You send a recurring meeting request to an attendee without the Request Responses option enabled.

The attendee accepts the meeting request.

You change a single occurrence of the recurring meeting, verify the Request Responses option is disabled, and then send the update.
In this scenario, the attendee accepts the update, but is prompted to send a response, and you receive the response.

The Response Requested option is enabled in the single occurrence after you send the update.

This issue does not occur if Outlook is running in the Cached Exchange mode.
Cause
This issue occurs because a new item is created for the single occurrence of the recurring meeting when you make the change. The new item sets some properties, such as the PR_RESPONSE_REQUESTED and PR_REPLY_REQUESTED properties, to default values instead of inheriting the values from the master recurring item. By default, these properties are set to True.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
