Summary

This article describes the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 28, 2011.

This article describes the following items about the hotfix package:

  • The issues that the hotfix package fixes.

  • Whether you must restart the computer after you install the hotfix package.

INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes



Consider the following scenario:

  • You create a form template that has an attachment control on it in Microsoft InfoPath 2010.

  • You publish the form template to a site collection.

  • You upload and enable the form template in a second site collection.

  • You upload a file to a form that is created by using the form template in the second site collection.


In this scenario, you cannot download the file. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: <nativehr>0x80070003</nativehr><nativestack></nativestack>




Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time.
