Once you’ve decided to use a Certified Microsoft partner to help you make your move to the cloud, make sure they understand your specific needs. Here are some questions I recommend you ask when you interview potential consultants:
1. Is my [specific hardware and software] compatible with Office 365?
2. How long will it take to migrate our emails, calendars, and contacts to the new system?
3. What information do you need to populate the user information inside Office 365?
4. Do you provide user training on how to use Office 365?
5. Do you provide administrator training on how to use Office 365?
6. How do we set up security policies for our company?
7. We have specific internal compliance and country security rules for our data. Do you understand how to work within the confines of our specific rules?
8. Have you done migrations that involved [your unique business requirement] before? How many per year?
