The system does not cancel the corresponding intercompany purchase order when you cancel a return order in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

When you cancel a return order in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the system does not cancel the corresponding intercompany purchase order. If you try to cancel the corresponding intercompany purchase order manually, you receive the following error message:
Quantity ordered may not be reduced because there are not enough inventory transactions with 'on order' status.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
