This article describes an issue in which the Type definition of a re-created Generic Type is not the same as the original type in the .NET Compact Framework 3.9 in Windows Embedded Compact 2013. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
You use the .NET Compact Framework 3.9 on a device that's running Windows Embedded Compact 2013. When you try to re-create a Generic Type from its Assembly Qualified Name, the Type definition of the re-created type is not the same as the original type.
