Fiscal receipts ICMS amount and ZReport ICMS amount (totalizer) are not equals in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Brazilian (br) region.

The ICMS tax totalizer on the Z report is calculated based on the sum of base amount for all operations while the retail transaction it is calculated based on each base amount from the individual fiscal receipts.

More information

For booking purposes, the total ICMS tax type amount is now stored on the Z report instead of being calculated per transactions. Therefore, the ICMS amount will not be displayed on retail transactions anymore, showing as "0.00" for ICMS tax amount. To see the ICMS tax type, total value it is required to view the value at the Z report form and look for ICMS tax type totalizer column.

The change is applicable only for the ICMS tax type. PIS, COFINS and other applicable taxes had no changes in this fix.
