Blend for Visual Studio 2012 behaves unpredictably when a Visual Studio 2013 Preview solution contains multiple projects and references different platform versions

If a solution contains projects that target both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, and those projects reference the same JavaScript SDK, Blend for Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Preview may behave unpredictably. For example, a solution may contain two projects that reference the Windows Live SDK in which one project targets Windows 8 and the other project targets Windows 8.1. In this example, the solution may result in only one of those projects working correctly on the Blend design surface even though both projects work fine at run time.

To work around this problem, maintain separate solutions for projects that reference different platform versions when you use Blend for Visual Studio 2013 Preview, and you reference the same JavaScript SDK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
