Surface Earbuds (not included) support Fast Pair, so you can quickly pair them with your Surface Duo and control it screen-free. Use your Surface Earbuds to make calls on your Surface Duo, listen to music, and get things done.
First, pair your Surface Earbuds over Bluetooth. After that, open the Surface Audio app to customize settings for your earbuds and keep them up to date. Surface Audio is already installed on your Surface Duo, so you don’t need to download or install anything else to get started.
1. Pair your Surface Earbuds over Bluetooth

Keep your Surface Earbuds in the charging case.

Press and hold the Pair button on the bottom of the case for 5 seconds.
The LED on the case will continuously flash white when your earbuds are in pairing mode. -
To pair your Surface Earbuds, tap the Surface Earbuds notification that appears, then tap the second notification to finish setting them up.
2. Set up your Surface Earbuds in the Surface Audio app

Take your earbuds out of the charging case.

In Settings, on the Connected devices screen, tap Surface Audio.
The Surface Audio app opens and your earbuds will connect.
