This article lists the Microsoft .NET Framework bugs that are fixed in the .NET Framework 2.0 post-Service Pack 1 (SP1) hotfix rollup for System.Data.dll and for System.Data.OracleClient.dll.

944100 FIX: You cannot manipulate the data table that is used a transaction in a .NET Framework 2.0-based Web project when you run a long-running stored procedure or an SQL script in the project
944099 FIX: Error message when you use the SQL Native Client data provider to connect to an instance of SQL Server 2005 that is configured to use database mirroring: "Internal .Net Framework Data Provider error 6"
948867 FIX: Null characters may appear in parts of the string that is returned when you use the System.Data.OracleClient.OracleDataReader class to return the results from a query in the .NET Framework 2.0
948868 FIX: Error message when a System.Data thread tries to open a pooled connection in the .NET Framework 2.0: ""Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool""
948176 FIX: Error message when applications call multiple SqlConnection.Open methods or OracleConnection.Open methods through multiple threads at the same time in the ADO.NET 2.0 applications: "IndexOutOfRangeException"
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next .NET Framework 2.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.
