“You need Adobe Flash Player” message when you try to view a video in Office 365 Video

PROBLEM

Consider the following scenario.
  • You browse to an Office 365 Video site and then click a video to view it.
  • When the video page opens, you receive the following message:
    You need Adobe Flash Player.

SOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install and enable Adobe Flash Player.

For more information about how to install the Flash Player on Windows or Mac OS, go to the following website: Be aware that some versions of Android and iOS don't support Flash. If you receive the error message described in this article and your device doesn’t support HTML 5 playback, these devices will be unable to play back the video through the web browser.
