Bing aims to make it easier for you to help others make better decisions based on your experiences. By sharing your photos you help ensure local listings are updated and relevant by highlighted things others may be interested in. So if you notice a new restaurant has an amazing menu, take a picture of it and share with the community. Or if you notice the hotel you are staying in has a great breakfast buffet, share a picture of it with the community. This will help others make better decisions around where they want to go and what they may want to do.

Sharing images with the community is simple. First, search for the place you have an image of. Second, click on "Add Image" below the place details that match your image's location. If you aren't signed in, you'll be asked to sign in or set up an account. Finally, choose your image to upload and share it with the world.

Hopefully all your images will be published, but in some instances Bing may choose to not publish a photo. In order to increase your chances of getting an image published, please follow these tips:

  • Make sure the image is relevant to the place and helps users better understand it

  • Ensure the image is clear, well lit, and framed appropriately to highlight the subject matter

  • Wait for times when you don't have identifiable faces in your shot or zoom in to remove them from your shot

Our goal is to help users explore and preview places that interest them with vivid images to help tell their story. Bing welcomes all contributions that help support this but reserves the right to suspend or remove user accounts and/or delete submissions for serious abuses. Examples of serious abuses include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading pornographic or adult content

  • Violating copyright laws by uploading images you haven't taken or own

  • Faking or using photoshop to mislead the community

  • Sharing images that are hateful or may harm others

Important: Bing asks users to help identify images that violate the above policies and use the flag icon on images to escalate these violations for evaluation and removal.
