Symptoms
Assume that you post some free text invoices for a customer in the local currency and some free text invoices for the customer in a foreign currency in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you run the customer account statement report for the customer by selecting the Open only check box, the system generates wrong closing balances for both the foreign currency and the local currency in the report.
Cause
This problem occurs because the currency is not saved in the currecyList container when the amount returns to zero (0) in the getCurrenciesForOpenTrans method in the CustTable table.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
