Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail 2012 POS:

You create a custom field that the type is set to Product receipt grid.

You add the custom field to a product grid layout in the design mode.
-
You save the changes.
-
You push the changes to the POS.
-
You log in to POS to view the design.
In this scenario, the custom field is missing in the product grid layout unexpectedly.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
