Symptomer
Når du bruger Microsoft Visual C++ 2013, kan der opstå følgende problemer:

Beskadigelse af heap forekommer på grund af en synkroniseringsfejl i SetLocale, og dette udløser en adgangsfejl.

Når du installerer en opdateret videredistribuerbar pakke, fjernes binære for arkitekturer uden destination. Når du f.eks. har installeret en opdatering til et x86-baseret program, mangler x64 Visual C++ 2013-kørselsbiblioteker. Denne programrettelse sikrer, at begge versioner af Visual C++ redistributable er synlige, når du tilføjer eller fjerner programmer efter installationen af opdateringen.
Løsning
Denne opdatering til Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Update 5 Redistributable Package frigives som en opdatering, der kun kan downloades og ikke distribueres via Windows Update. Redistribution of this update is allowed subject to the same license terms as granted by the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 release.
