MS15-097: Description of the security update for the graphics component in Windows: September 8, 2015

This security update also fixes the following non-security-related issues:

• You receive a stop (bugcheck) error on a blue screen when you rotate a tablet that is running Windows 8.1. This problem can occur when there is a script file or a batch file in the Startup folder.
• If you force an application window to be topmost, or "always on top," by using an option in the application, sometimes you cannot undo the "always on top" option. Therefore, the application remains topmost.

You can obtain the stand-alone update package through the Microsoft Download Center. Follow the installation instructions on the download page to install the update.
