One way you can call attention to text on a slide is to add a border around it.

Add a border around text

  1. Select the text to add a border to.

  2. On the Insert tab, select the rectangle shape and then click and drag on the slide to draw the shape.

  3. With the shape selected, on the Shape tab, select Shape Fill > No Fill.

    No fill color

  4. Still on the Shape tab, select Shape Outline, and do the following:

    • Under Theme Colors, pick a border color.

    • Select Weight, then pick a thickness for the border.
