Important: You must be a team owner to change member permissions.

On the left, select

Select the ellipsis (...) and then

Select Settings on the top menu and choose Member permissions or Guest permissions.

Check or clear permissions to grant or deny.
Note: The ability to create teams and other permissions outside team member permissions may be controlled by your Teams admin, not a team owner.
