When you print a presentation, most of the options for printing handouts can be selected in the Print dialog box or the Page Setup dialog box, such as which slides to print, how many slides per page, or whether you want headers or footers. However, if you are trying to print handouts that contain slides and notes, but the notes don't fit on every page or you want the slide to be larger, you can resize the placeholders in the page layout of the notes master.

  1. On the View menu, point to Master, and then click Notes Master.

  2. On the page layout, select the placeholder that you want to change.

  3. Position the pointer over a sizing handle, and then drag the handle until the placeholder is the size that you want.

  4. When you have completed changes in notes master view, on the message bar, click Close Master to return to normal view.
