For hybrid meetings, you’ll want to ensure your meeting space is set up for success. Use the following considerations to help you make sure people and content can be seen and heard in hybrid meetings:
-
Lighting Make sure there are no shadows or dark spots in the room to ensure remote meeting participants will be able to see your face clearly in video
-
Acoustics Reduce all background noise when possible, and use materials that absorb noise where possible, like carpet and foam ceiling tiles
-
Microphones and speakers In order for virtual and physical meeting participants to be able to speak and hear each other speak, you’ll need a combination of microphones and speakers
-
Cameras Use the camera on your laptop, or some conference rooms may already have a camera installed that will sync with the Teams meeting camera
-
HDTV or display screens One or two large screens will be necessary in order to show remote participants or to display a presentation.
-
Access to power and HDMI Many in-person meeting participants will need power for their devices and connects to share their screen on office displays.
