Import a notebook

Important: If you haven't downloaded/exported the notebook yet, follow the instructions to export a notebook.

1. Unzip the folder in the file you previously downloaded. This unzipped folder is your notebook.

2. In any modern web browser, go to OneNote Notebook Importer.

3. On the screen that opens, select Import.

4. On your computer, navigate to the location of your notebook folder, select it, and then select Open.

Importing a notebook isn't possible yet in OneNote for Mac. You can, however:

• Copy a section and add it to a new notebook.

• Share a notebook.
