To make the folder pane visible

  1. In  mail, on the View tab, in the Layout group, select Folder pane > Normal.

To see the entire list of folders in your mailbox

  1. On the File tab, select Info > Tools > Mailbox cleanup.

  2. Select View Mailbox Size.

  3. Scan the complete list of subfolders for the folder name you want. If it is nested under other folders, the entire folder path is shown, which will help you then navigate in the Outlook folder pane to where that subfolder lives.

To make the folder pane visible

  1. In  mail, on the View tab, select Folder pane > Show.

    If you don't see Folder pane, select Layout, then select Folder pane > Show.

To find a specific folder

Outlook doesn't have a way to search for a specific subfolder. The best way to do this is to expand all the folder nodes in the folder pane, then scan the list for the one you want.
