INTRODUCTION

This article describes a country-specific update that enables the cash balance limit handling functionality in the cash and bank management integration is available in Russia in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.The cash balance limit handling functionality allows users to reserve payroll cash balance during a specific number of days (lag), which does not allow users to move this money out of cash during this period.

The cash balance limit handling functionality in the cash and bank management integration allows users to do the following:

  • Input into the system information about salary payment by marking the cash ledger journal transaction line as "For Payroll".

  • Transfer the "salary payment" journal line type to cash transaction during the posting.

  • Specify the number of days (lag) that is allowed for payroll accumulation on cash accounts.

  • Control cash balance based on the specified lag. Cash balance that allowed for write-off will be calculated as total cash balance minus the amount reserved for payroll.

  • Control cash balance does not exceed legally established for company limit.

  • Reflect the payroll accumulation information in the cash book report.A separate section that contains payroll amounts will be displayed in the report.

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with cumulative update 6 (CU6) installed

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.
